Meet Dr. Maiorana

Dr. Anthony Maiorana is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon from Girard, Ohio. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Youngstown State University, completing a double major in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Physics. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The Ohio State College of Dentistry in 1995.

A dedicated military veteran with more than 20 years of service, Dr. Maiorana completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia, followed by a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington. He later served as Assistant Program Director for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia.



Dr. Maiorana is a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the North Carolina Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
